Après quelques hésitations autour des Abbassides, THCoins a découvert le lien donné par Hpdp et cela lui a permis de tomber d'accord avec Aws22 au sujet des Aghlabides (royaume centré sur l'actuelle Tunisie, complété par l'est de l'Algérie et la région de Tripoli, qui de làa envahit le sud de l'Italie, la Sicile et la Sardaigne).

Abu Ishaq Ibrahim II ibn Ahmad (أبو اسحاق ابراهيم الثاني) was the Emir of Ifriqiya. He ruled from 875 until his abdication in 902. Despite his fierce reputation as an oppressor, he was quite successful as a ruler, economically and militarily.
The Aghlabids (الأغالبة) were an Arab dynasty of emirs from the Najdi tribe of Banu Tamim (بنو تميم), who ruled Ifriqiya and parts of Southern Italy, Sicily and Sardinia, nominally on behalf of the Abbasid Caliph, for about a century, until overthrown by the new power of the Fatimids.
